Making Tracks

This active exploration roleplaying game is designed to be played on the actual trains of your city, or if not, then with a city train map of your choice - such as this one of Sydney, Australia

It is a game of mystery, where an enchanted train transports you to strange worlds. At each station, you will search for clues about a stranger who seems to be chasing you down, all the while trying to avoid being caught.

The setup:

You are waiting at the station when you notice a strange individual in the crowd. Tall and slender, they are dressed in coat-tails, a tall grey top hat and grey scarf, extremely shiny shoes and a pair of gloves in a shockingly bright shade of green. They are standing on the top concourse, surveying the crowd as though looking for someone. Suddenly, they lock eyes with you. You see their eyes widen, and they point at you, motioning for a guard to come over. After a short yet intense looking conversation, a group of several guards, along with the grey-hatted person, and several strange-looking people whose forms seem to shimmer ethereally, start determinedly making their way over to you. They look hostile, and you suddenly get a strong feeling that it would be a very good idea not to let them catch you. Time to make tracks!

 You wonder:

• Who this person is;
• Why they are chasing you; and
• How you can stop them

You need to find enough clues to figure out the answers to all three of these questions before your Mysterious Assailant - the grey-hatted stranger - catches up with you.
